Cantonese Assembly Hall is a special religious place for the Chinese people who initially settled in Hoi An. Up to now, it ranks at the top of the most famous feudal structures in the ancient town. Cantonese Assembly Hall (Hoi Quan Quang Dong in Vietnamese) is located on Tran Phu Street which is home to many unique architectural works of great historical value. Conveniently located near Japanese Covered Bridge (Chua Cau), this style-mingled assembly hall welcomes flocks of visitors on a daily basis, adding a dash of color to the multicolored Hoi An.
After you arrive in Da Nang, there are two common ways to move to Hoi An Ancient Town:
➟ Taxi: It is very easy to get a taxi at Da Nang Airport. It will take you only 45 - 55 minutes to get to Hoi An, with the cost for a taxi ride from 350.000 - 450.000 VND/trip, depending on the service provider.
➟ Bus: This is a go-to option for backpackers. You can catch bus number 1, from Da Nang central bus station to Hoi An bus station, for 25.000 VND/trip.
To get around Hoi An, you may rent a motorbike or a bicycle. You can also try a cycle rickshaw (cyclo), a unique feature of Hoi An, to dive into the lively life of this city.
