<Tip> You can enjoy a Fado performance with a meal at Cafe Luso. Pado is a genre of Portuguese traditional music that captures sorrows of Portuguese people in a mournful melody.  When a singer(Fadista) goes on the stage, Portuguese acoustic guitar​ and other percussion instruments are played. The meal is served before the performance, and it is dark when the performance begins, so all guests must be quiet so that they can concentrate on the performance.​​​​​

Café Luso is a fado house with a restaurant. With its plant in the effervescent Bairro Alto, it is located in the old wineries and stables of Palácio Brito Freire, which resisted the earthquake of 1755.
