Turkey's president wants to consolidate his political presence,
created a great mosque with taxpayers' money.
Design of camlica mosque was inspired by Ottoman architecture Mimar Sinan.
Design was undertaken by two female architects, Bahar Mezrak and Hayriye Gül Totu, who planned to build a female-friendly mosque.
Plan included separate spaces for women to wash their face before praying, separate elevators and childcare facilities.
