Sapa Glass Bridge has become a hot destination for any tourists doing trips to Sapa. It has only been in operation in recent years, but the bridge welcomes tens of thousands of visitors every month. It is also an impressive check-in location with many adventurous games. Moreover, visitors can enjoy the feeling of walking on clouds and getting lost in the scenery of a fairyland.
Rong May Glass Bridge, which is translated into English : Rong - Dragon, May - Cloud leading to its English name Cloud Dragon Glass Bridge It was put into operation in November 2019 and is more than 2,000 meters above sea level. It is currently the highest glass bridge in Vietnam.Although tourists have heard of Bach Long glass bridge in Moc Chau, Son La, the one in Sapa is even more magnificent and modern. The bridge spans the O Quy Ho Pass and hugs the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, extending outwards up to 60 meters with a total length of 300 meters in a circular shape with 4 walkways spreading out in 4 directions, ensuring the sturdiness and solidity of the bridge.
The tempered glass floor of the bridge is designed with 3 layers, with a total thickness of 7cm and bonded with materials that can withstand high weight. The walkway is spacious and the length of the bridge is up to 50 meters.
To visit the bridge, you can choose to walk or take the elevator. However, I suggest you take the elevator because it saves time and gives you the feeling of floating on air. In just over a minute, you can reach the top of the mountain wall while enjoying the scenery outside through the entire glass elevator.
- Zipline on the glass bridge -
This is a thrilling game when you travel to Sapa, including a long cable connecting two points. With this game, you must wear protective gear and then slide down from the top of the mountain.
From here, you will feel like crossing the forest and can see the whole picture of the Northwest mountains. In beautiful sunny weather, the image of the Northwest mountains seems to be within your reach.

To reach the Rong May Sapa Glass Bridge, visitors must first travel to Sapa, a town located in Lao Cai Province. The easiest way to get to Sapa is by train or bus from Hanoi, which takes around 8-10 hours depending on the mode of transport. Once in Sapa, visitors can hire a motorbike or take a taxi to the bridge, which is located about 18km from the town center.
Other route from Hanoi, you can take National Highway 6 towards Hoa Binh, Son La, Dien Bien and then on NR4D to the Rong May Glass Bridge area. Although this route is quite long and winding, it is a favorite of many backpackers.
