Notice on Withdrawal (Refund) Restrictions for Digital Gift Cards

1) Product Characteristics and Refund Restriction Policy

 This product is a digital gift card. Once the payment is completed, a redeemable or usable code is issued immediately.

 Due to the nature of digital gift cards, issued codes cannot be resold. In addition, once a code has been issued, it is difficult to verify whether the code has been retrieved or reused.   Therefore, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, the right of withdrawal (refund) may be restricted.

 (Legal Basis: Article 17, Paragraph 2 of the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.)

2) Scope of Non-Refundable (Withdrawal Restriction)

 Refunds may be restricted in the following cases:

 

    - When a code has been issued after payment is completed (based on the issuance time).

    - When the customer has checked (viewed) or received the issued code.

    - When the code has been used or an attempt to use the code has been detected.

    - When the code has been shared, transferred, or assigned to a third party.

    - When the code has been leaked, stolen, or misused due to reasons attributable to the customer.

    - When a cancellation request is made due to a change of mind, price fluctuations, or personal reasons after purchase.

 

※ The fact that the code has not been used does not automatically guarantee a refund. The issuance of the code itself may constitute a reason for refund restriction.

3) Cases Where Refunds May Be Exceptionally Granted

Refunds may be granted on an exceptional basis only if the following conditions apply and can be verified by the company:

 

     - Payment has been completed but the code has not been issued.

     - Duplicate payment has occurred due to a system error.

     - The code cannot be issued or delivered due to a technical issue on the part of the company or its partners.

     - The issued code is clearly confirmed to be defective or invalid (e.g., invalid code, already used code).

     (However, issues caused by customer negligence or use by a third party are excluded.)

4) Refund Request Procedure

To request a refund, please contact Customer Support and provide the following information:

 

     - Order number / Purchaser’s name

     - Date and time of payment and payment method

     - Reason for the refund request and any relevant supporting evidence (e.g., screenshots of error messages)

 

After receiving the request, the company will review the issuance and usage status of the code as well as the system logs. Additional information or documentation may be requested if necessary.

5) Refund Processing Period and Method

If the refund request is confirmed to be eligible, the refund will be processed through the original payment method within 3–7 business days from the date the request is received.

Depending on the policies of the payment provider (card issuer or payment gateway), the actual time for the refund to appear may take additional time.

6) Restrictions on Fraudulent Use and Refund Abuse

If misuse of the refund or cancellation policy is detected, or if there is evidence of code leakage, unauthorized use, or other fraudulent activity, the refund may be restricted. In such cases, the related transaction may be canceled or blocked if deemed necessary.

7) Notice

By proceeding with the purchase, you are deemed to have agreed to the refund and withdrawal restriction policy stated above.
