Woljeong, a bridge from the Unified Silla Era, was lost during the Joseon Dynasty after more than 10 years of investigation, historical research, and restoration, and all restorations were completed in April 2018. According to the , it is recorded that it was built in the 19th year of King Gyeongdeok (760) during the Unified Silla Era, and served as a connection between Wolseong and Namsan in Gyeongju at that time. Two collections of data and excavations for restoration design from November 26, 1984 to September 8, 1986 confirmed the presence of a wooden bridge for the first time. Later, through construction from 2008 to 2013, the bridge was restored with a length of 66.15 meters, a width of 13 meters, and a height of 6 meters.
From April 2016, construction of two gate towers at both ends of the bridge was carried out, and the final construction was completed in April 2018. On the second floor of the gatehouse, there is an exhibition hall where you can see videos of the bridge's restoration process and excavated artifacts, and during the day, you can see the appearance of Woljeongjeong, which is good, and Woljeongjeong, which is another attraction at night, is a popular place for night view of Gyeongju. If you look at Woljeongjeong from the Jinggum Bridge installed in front of Woljeongjeong, you can see the scenery of Woljeongjeong shining softly on the river.

Donghwasa Temple (동화사) is located on the south side of Palgongsan Mountain, about 22km northeast of Daegu. It was built by Monk Geukdal in the 15th year of King Soji’s reign (AD 493). The original name of the temple was Yugasa Temple, but Simjiwangsa rebuilt the temple under King Heungdeok (r. AD 826-836) and named it Donghwasa Temple, which means even during the winter season, the paulownia tree still blooms.
Donghwasa’s Daeungjeon is segmented into 3 sections at the front and side, and its natural looking pillars are one of its main attractions. It includes the statues of Seokgamonibul, Amitabul, and Yaksayeoraebul inside. If you walk down the stone stairs beside Bongseoru and walk along the cement road for a while, you will find the huge Seokjoyaksa Yeoraebul. Created as a prayer for reunification, this large Buddha statue is 17m high. The stone tower, stone light, lion statue, and the lotus flower that decorate the Buddha statue are all very large in size.
