This iconic sandwich store on the corner of Baixada de Llibreteria and Paradís street, was founded more than 70 years ago, in 1951, by Pedro Conesa.
Pedró began by offering some German sausages, which were new at that time and for which customers invented nicknames such as: "kanfort", "francort"... until they were baptized as frankfurt. They quickly became popular and on weekends it was a tradition to go to Conesa or eat a Frankfurt sandwich, and then dance sardanas or go for a beer.
After more than 70 years, Conesa is still famous for its sandwiches and has expanded its menu to offer up to 50 different types. Now it is managed by Josep, Pedro's son, who has worked with his father since he was 14 years old and who is doing a great job maintaining and improving the quality of the product and the service they offer.

There is always a line up outside Les Quinze Nits. Part of the Andilana Restaurant group, although this place can be slightly touristy, it's one of the tastiest Gothic Quarter restaurants. Their dishes have a Mediterranean and Catalan flare and are all reasonably priced. One of the best parts about Les Quinze Nits is its location. Perfectly situated, overlooking the always lively, Plaza Reial, you can enjoy dinner while feasting your eyes upon the performers who are always there to entertain during dinner (breakfast and lunch as well). The palm trees and gorgeous lights make for a romantic and very special evening.

The small city of Sitges parties big. The nightlife is thumping, the people are gorgeous and the annual Carnival festival is utterly epic. A countercultural touchstone, Sitges is lively and very LGBT friendly. Native food and beverage is sublime--you simply must sample the Malvasia wine, made from grapes descending from Ancien Greece. Don't mis the Miseu Romantic "Can Lolepis" or, if you are in Sitges in October, the world-renowned Sitges Film festival, a cinematic extravaganza of horror, sci-fi and fantasy.
