Jangneung Royal Tomb is a historic royal burial site located in Yeongwol. It is the tomb of King Danjong, the sixth king of the Joseon Dynasty. King Danjong of Joseon ascended to the throne at a young age but was later dethroned by his uncle, King Sejo of Joseon. After being exiled to Yeongwol, Danjong tragically died there. Jangneung was later established as his royal tomb, honoring his legacy.
The tomb is set in a serene natural landscape surrounded by mountains and forests, reflecting traditional Korean royal tomb architecture, which harmonizes with nature based on Confucian principles. Visitors can explore the burial mound, stone statues, and ceremonial pathways that represent the dignity of a king.
Today, Jangneung is part of the Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty, recognized by UNESCO for their historical and cultural significance. It is a peaceful and meaningful destination where visitors can learn about Korean history while enjoying the beauty of nature.

Busan's Bupyeong Market is also known as Kkangtong (tin can) Market. It earned that funny name when it had a variety of imported canned goods from the United States for the US forces stationed in Korea during the Korean War. It was also known as "Dottegi (bustling plea) Market." All foreign products found in the country at that time were supplied from this market. Due to its vast property and many rare goods that were hard to find anywhere else during the time, it was also referred as "Gukje Market" Some imported goods including liquor, clothes, ornaments, accessories, fashion items and electronic goods are still sold here.
A night market opens from 19:30-24:00 at the public parking lot and at Arcade 2 of the market . The entrance of the market greets visitors with bright LED lights and fun performances. A magic show and a guitar performance take place twice a day by the entrance of the market and the at the four-way intersection inside the market.

While the village’s beautiful landscape gave it the nickname of the Machu Picchu of Korea, the town was a part of the painful history of Busan. Refugees settled in Gamcheon Village during the Korean War and cultivated the mountainous region to make a living. In 2009, students, artists, and residents decorated the village as a part of the Village Art Project, and the town grew into a leading tourist attraction of Busan since then. The Gamcheon Culture Village, now a landmark of west Busan, is favored by tourists as an experience-based destination. Follow the stamp map purchased at the village information center to complete the alley tour.
Artworks and mural paintings turn the backward alley of Gamcheon into an animated village, attracting people’s attention along with various souvenir shops and workshops where you can stop by to attend the experience programs and create your own souvenir.
