The forest has kept its natural condition unopened to the public throughout the Japanese occupation, liberation, war, and industrialization.
Ahopsan Forest in Gijang-gun, Busan, is a place that was not open to the world for 400 years. The place became known to the world after becoming the filming location for the movie Kundo: Age of the Rampant in 2014. In 2016, the owners who managed the forest for 400 years decided to open the place to the public. The forest was designated as a green belt and water source conservation area for a long time, preserving the healthy natural environment and ecosystem.
The represented place is bamboo habitat. There are two bamboo forests within nine mountains. The Maengjongjuk Forest is the first one encountered along the trail. Go into the dense bamboo forest and look up to the sky to see the glistening sunlight between the leaves. The second bamboo forest is a flat bamboo field known as the bamboo tree–lined trail. The bamboo forest densely populates both sides of the path to block most light, allowing visitors to take a stroll.

is the heartland of the Korean wave and the main stage for MBC historical drama series.
The park is one of the largest open set in Korea, where historical and modern dramas, movies and commercials can be filmed.
In the park, traditional Korean architecture styles and living spaces are semi-permanently built and implemented based on thorough historical research on the Three Kingdoms of Korea, Goryeo Dynasty and Joseon Dynasty.
So far, numerous MBC historical dramas have been filmed here.
Going beyond the current role as the main stage for historical dramas, the future goal of Dae Jang Geum Park is to become the biggest Korean wave theme park and a culture experience center where visitors can fully enjoy a trip to the past.

Selling handmade hats for men and women, the owner studied fashion design in Esmod Seoul in her youth, only to go study hat design in Japan during her fifties. It's been 4 years since then. Adding hat making skills to her sensibility as a fashion designer, she was able to create a style of products belonging to her brand Aya. Designed with the concept of her products being "everyday wear for normal people", her hats are full of interesting details. Every wrinkle, corsage, and stitch put into her hats are intentional. Rarely using synthetic fibers like polyester, most of Aya's hats are made with natural fibers to retain a prettier shape.
