The cave's development direction is from northeast to southwest and was discovered in 1966. It was designated as Natural Monument No. 219 on June 4, 1969 and opened to the public on May 15, 1974. Gossi Cave is a typical limestone cave with a multi-layered structure consisting of several layers. The lower level is in the form of a horizontal cave where a river flows, and a passage is developed from the entrance in a southwesterly direction. The total length of the main cave is about 950 meters, the length of the tunnel is about 2,438 meters, and the total length of the Gossi Cave is 3,388 meters, of which only about 500 meters is developed for tourism and is open to the public.
