Dadaepo Beach, where Nakdonggang River and the South Sea meet, allows you to enjoy the beauty of nature with Busan’s sunrise, sunset, and sandy beach. The smoothness of Dadaepo Beach’s soft white sand is thanks to the long weathering period. The unique texture of the sand brushing between the toes provides a refreshing and pleasant sensation. The shallow and warm beach also makes it the perfect play place for children.
Visitors have increased since the construction of the coastal park and eco exploration route. At the entrance of the beach, the coastal park greets visitors with the largest sunset fountain in the world, presenting a magnificent sight with its colorful lighting, music, and dancing fountain. The fountain show held regularly between the end of April and October awaits night travelers.
The Gowooni Ecological Trail is where you can see Dadaepo Marsh’s animals and plants. Walk on the trail that connects to the wooden deck to experience the sensation of walking between the sky and ocean.

Located at the eastern end of Haeundae, Mipo is also the site of Haeundae Beach Train’s Mipo Station. This beautiful port boasts a great view of the contrast between the skyscrapers of Haeundae on one side and the lights from the small fishing boats lining the coast on the other. Take slow steps to the Mipo Blueline Park square. “Blue Line” is the official name of Haeundae Beach Train. From Mipo Port to Songjeong, the entire trail is decked out in wooden platforms. Some staircases lead you around the coastal cliffs to an amazing view of the sea. Seeing Haeundae from Daritdol Observatory gives a whole new vibe to the district’s skyscrapers. Dalmaji Tunnel, once painted with a whitish gray, now features different colors.
These signposts lead you through Busan Green Railway while letting you know your current location on the trail and the remaining distance to the next section. An old-fashioned beach train runs by the trail at a leisurely pace, bringing the mountains and the seas together to create unique scenery. Cheongsapo Port’s view is completed by the sharp contrast of red and white from the Twin Lighthouses, the blue sea, and the sky. If you’re feeling brave, walk on the transparent Daritdol Observatory, and watch the waves striking the rocks far below.
The second half of the walking trail is made up of the Gudeokpo–Songjeong section. If you’re walking all the way from Mipo Port, you might have to rest your legs a bit. There are plenty of spots for you to take a breather and enjoy the sight of the sea all the way to the horizon. Slightly further is Jukdo Park at the end of Songjeong Beach, which would be a great place to wrap up this walk. If you’re lucky enough to arrive during sunset hours, you can enjoy an unparalleled view of the sunset descending into the sea.

The steep wall of the Jeoryeong Coastal Trail is a unique view of the village, where you can see small houses clustered along the narrow alley formed by the coast at the end of the cliff. This is where the sorrowful lives of refugees began and where the current cultural village community of Huinnyeoul Culture Village has been established.
Huinnyeoul-gil, the representative original downtown center of Busan, was named after the current of water at the foot of the Bongnaesan Mountain that resembles the white falling snow. In December 2011, the old house was remodeled and renovated into a unique Culture and Art Village that reflects the life in Yeongdo.
Huinnyeoul-gil consists of 14 alleys as well as cozy cafés, workshops, and independent bookstores. The ocean breeze enters the slow-paced alleys, and the greenery between rocks add relaxation to daily life. One of the must-visit places on Huinnyeoul-gil is the Huinnyeol Jeomppang, where you can enjoy the best ramen noodles while gazing at the vast ocean. A moment of peace enters the mind as you enjoy your meal after a long day of walking. The end of the road connects to the Jeoryeong Coastal Trail once again and reunites with travelers who walked between the cliffs and the lands below.
