Juknokwon is a bamboo grove visible immediately to the left after passing the Hyanggyo School, which borders Gwanbangjerim and Damyangcheon, the source of the Yeongsan River. Damyang County developed the Seongansan area and opened it in May 2003. At the entrance of Juknokwon, climbing the stone steps one by one helps loosen your stiff body, and the gentle breeze blowing through the bamboo brings a refreshing feeling to your tired mind and body. Also, walking along the densely packed bamboo forest path while listening to the crisp rustling of bamboo leaves, it feels refreshing to feel the sunlight pouring down through the green bamboo leaves with your whole body. Inside Juknokwon, jukrocha (bamboo dew), which grows by eating dew falling from bamboo leaves, grows naturally. After enjoying the bamboo bath, you can relax your mind with a cup of bamboo tea. Additionally, Juknokwon features a 2.2 km walking trail where visitors can enjoy bamboo forest bathing. It consists of eight themed paths, including the Path of Great Fortune, the Path of Bamboo Friends, and the Philosopher\'s Path, with the walking trail starting from Juknokwon Observatory. From the observatory, you can see Damyangcheon, the Damyang Gwanbangjerim (made up of ancient trees over 300 years old), and the famous Metasequoia tree-lined street of Damyang. There is an ecological exhibition hall, artificial waterfall, ecological pond, and outdoor performance hall, and lighting has been installed in the bamboo grove for nighttime walks.

Sinanchon has been in operation for 30 years and has gained a reputation for their octopus and skate dishes. They specialize in the food of the Jeolla region, such as hongeo samhap (a combination of three ingredients: aged skate, boiled pork, and fermented kimchi) and nakji kkuri (octopus mixed with chicory and shredded green onion salad). As the name suggests, most of the ingredients are delivered from Shinan-gun of the Jeolla region, and their octopus is delivered from Muan. The maesaengiguk (seaweed fulvescens soup) makes for an excellent meal all on its own.
