Traditional Korean Lifestyle Harmonized With Nature
Jirye Artist Town. a 45-minute drive mostly on an unpaved road east of Andong City in Kyongsang-pukto, is nestled in the midst of rich mountainous flora and pristine forests.
Overlooking the meandering Naktong River, the town is deemed as one of the very few ecological habitats in the southern half of the Korean peninsula.
Visitors to the town, located exactly opposite the much-publicized "Hahoe Maul", can get a genuine taste of traditional Korean living culture in harmony with untainted nature.
Traditional Korean houses called "Hanok" can be easily assembled and dissembled.

[Bus]
After you buy a bus ticket in Andong Intercity Bus Terminal, get on the bus at platform 6 or 10 and get off at Imdong. Make sure you're checking it is going to Lim Dong or not when you board.
The fare is 3,400 won in regular bus and 4,100 won in honor bus, roughly 35 min. away on taking a bus.

There is an extraordinary cafe made from old cave in Mungyeong
The cave was a mine 20 years ago but it has been neglected due to low profitability
It has turned into a wine restaurant in which you can enjoy meal, wine, tea and drink as well as live performance.
Above all, a strange atmosphere that i feel really attractive in the cave
it is a wonderful place where you can naturally enjoy the beauty of the cave and cup of coffee
and it maintains an average annual temperature of 14 dgree and is used for wine ripening and storage it can store up to 400,000 bottles.

the cave is located at Hwang Jang Mountain. so you have to climb a mountain road about 500m by car.
You must climb to the end along a small sign that says"Mungyeong Omija Cave" on the street.
