There’s always something exciting going on at Darling Harbour. Whip out your diary and get ready to pencil in some of Sydney’s most exciting events, from art exhibitions and concerts to boat shows and film festivals.
Lucky for you Darling Harbour is home to some of the best restaurants and bars in Sydney. Sip an Aperol Spritz while the sun sets at a terrace bar, or visit some of Australia’s most acclaimed restaurants.
Darling Harbour is home to some of Sydney’s best shopping. Visit Harbourside, a boutique shopping centre with bars on its roof right by the sea, or drop into one of hundreds of stores selling everything from sheepskin boots to high fashion.
- Light Rail :
The Inner West Light Rail travels between Central Station in the CBD and Dulwich Hill in the Inner West and has a number of stops in Darling Harbour.
Alight at the Paddy's Market stop the Powerhouse Museum and the Chinese Garden.
Alight at Exhibition stop for Tumbalong Park and the ICC Sydney Exhibition halls.
Alight at Convention stop for the ICC Sydney Convention Centre and Harbourside Shopping Centre.
Alight at the Pyrmont Bay stop for the Australian National Maritime Museum and Pyrmont Bay Park.
- Bus:
For buses travelling through the CBD along Elizabeth, Castlereagh, George or York streets, alight at Market, Park, Druitt, Bathurst or Liverpool streets.
If you walk down Market Street you will enter Darling Harbour close to Pyrmont Bridge, SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium and WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo and Cockle Bay Wharf.
