Located in the heart of Colmar, the Immersive Chocolate Museum invites you to share the passion of chocolate in an original, unique and secure setting. Experience a beautiful and surprising sensory immersion at the Choco Story museum created by the Van Belle family.
Discover the history of chocolate and its manufacturing secrets! The visit of the museum will transport you to various worlds to keep you awake and focused. At the entrance, the reception will give you 2 chocolates and an audioguide very useful during the visit. The audioguide, in the form of a remote control, is made to explain each element exposed and to launch the interactive animations
On the first floor, you will discover various spaces that present the past events that have marked the history of chocolate, such as the Mayan temple, the first people to process cocoa, the Spanish galleon, the royal courts or the old French pharmacy of the time of "Jules Verne".
On the first floor, the industrial production and the current chocolate are highlighted. The atmosphere, animated like a Cabaret-show, is very festive thanks to the sounds and the plays of light. You will discover how the chocolate makers proceed today to realize their greedy creation.
At the end of the tour, you will find a large map of Alsace listing the main artisanal chocolate makers in the region. You will also have access to all the tastings and can come at any time.
