It's been over thirty years since the Bistrot du Palais opened its doors at 220 rue Duguesclin. Just a stone's throw from the Presqu'île, on the other side of the Rhône, the location might have been surprising at the time, even if the proximity of the new Palais de Justice, as indicated by the sign, was already a determining factor.
But chef Jean-Paul Lacombe, always a visionary when it comes to foreseeing the future of a neighborhood, was not mistaken in installing the little brother of his famous Bistrot de Lyon here .
