Mangyangjeong Beach is relatively shallow and narrow, but it has the highest water temperature among the beaches on the East Sea coast. The lush pine forest makes it a good place to take a stroll, and there are many tourist attractions around the beach, such as Seongryugul Cave, which is a natural monument, Bulyeong Valley, and the coastal road, making it a popular summer resort for sightseeing.
Although the width of the white sand beach is narrow, the water depth is shallow, and the water temperature is the highest among the beaches on the East Sea coast, making it a suitable place for swimming. On a calm day, you can see the turtle rock that looks like it is lying flat on the sea.
Facilities include an observation deck, three toilets, a water fountain, one shower, a restaurant, a shop, and a parking lot for 500 cars. Accommodation options include condominium-style inns and nearby inns.
