Boat trips are among the best ways to spend a day away from the crowds, and during your vacations in Antalya, you can find a great selection of them. The Suluada Island Boat Trip From Antalya takes you to visit two famous spots and enables you to explore the beauty of the unspoiled natural setting. Feel like you are swimming in an exotic bay, visit the Love Cave, have some fun, and create memories that will last for long time.
As the boat leaves the harbour, get ready for an exciting, yet relaxing sailing experience into the azure waters of the Mediterranean. At some points, you will realize that the area is totally unspoiled and preserved. This is because it is a destination for the careta turtles and so the authorities protect the bays.
Suluada Island is the first stop of the day. The island forms a popular swimming stop option as many people characterize it as an exotic bay, similar to Maldives. Suluada Island has a relatively small size but an exceptionally unique setting. The turquoise waters surrounding the white sandy terrain of the island will take your breath away. Jump into the waters and enjoy a revitalizing swimming session during your time there.
The boat will then continue sailing towards the next stop. During this time, you will have the opportunity to have a delicious and freshly made lunch aboard. Get energized, relax under the sun and get ready for your next swimming stop.
This boat trip takes you also to visit the Akseki Bay or Love Island as it is also known. What makes this bay famous is the small cave that has, the Love Cave. The temperature of the cave’s waters is always low so it is the perfect spot to swim if you wish to refresh yourself. According to the local myth, the cave was filled with water due to the teardrops of a girl who join a harem and forced to leave her boyfriend.
By the end of your last swimming stop, the boat will sail back to the port. Upon arrival, a modern vehicle will drive you back to your place of accommodation in Antalya. Full of memories and with a sense of sweet tiredness, you will arrive at your hotel during the afternoon.

Yivli Minare Mosque is an Islamic place of worship in the center of the old city of Antalya.
The mosque’s fluted minaret named “the Yivli Minaret”, which is decorated with dark blue tiles, is a landmark and symbol of the city. Although the inscription at the entrance indicates that Yivli Minaret Mosque was built in 1373 by Mehmet Bey, grandson of Yunus Bey from the Hamitoglu clan. The original mosque was built in 1230 by using the walls of a ruined old church which was exist formerly at the same place.
The original mosque destroyed in the 14th century and the prayer hall was rebuilt with its six domes. Domes attract attention with their exterior tiles. This building is one of the oldest examples of multi-domed mosques in Anatolia. The mosque’s plan scheme is rectangular and the building has plain decoration style. The roof is carried by 12 columns which have ancient column heads. The exterior walls of the mosque are constructed by hewn stone.
The mosque is famous for its minaret which was constructed on the orders of Alaaddin Keykubad I, the Seljuks Sultan who ruled between 1220 and 1237. The 38-metre high fluted minaret is a unique example of Anatolian Turkish Architecture. It stands on a huge square stone base measuring 6.5 metres tall and 5.5 metres wide. The Minaret’s eight semi-circular grooved red brick shaft was originally decorated with dark blue and turquoise-colored tiles.
Yivli Minaret Mosque represents unique architectural design with its fluted minaret. It is possible to compare with other similar minarets in Anatolia such as the minaret of the Afyon Gedik Ahmet Paşa Mosque, Amasya Burmalı Minaret Mosque, Tire Karahasan Mosque and one of the minarets of Edirne Üç Şerefeli Mosque. But Yivli Minaret Mosque distinguishes from them with its minaret’s unprecedented form and design.
The minaret was restored in 1953 and 1961 by General Directorate of Cultural Heritage and Museums. Its spire was renewed in 1973 by Directorate General of Foundations.

To begin with, just get on whichever bus that takes you to a tram station, where you can take T1A and T1B. Once you get there take a tram going towards EXPO; it will be highlighted on the tram. Get off at the AKSU station, and cross the street onto İsmail Ogan Street. If you have trouble finding it, you can ask someone around you. After walking around 100m (330 feet), you will see a bus station, and there is where you will have to take a minibus towards the waterfall. Take the bus called MK81, but you might not see the “MK” written on the bus. If you see “81” then you’ll know it’s right. Keep in mind that this minibus only passes ONCE AN HOUR, so if you miss it you will have to wait an extra hour. After 30 minutes you will reach the waterfall.
