Design was designed by senior royal architect Mimar Sinan. Mosque is known to be first large scale structure to be faithful
to the Ottoman turks of Sinan's achievements. It is very large and height of dome ceiling of worship room is 37m and 19m in diameter.

It was designed by then-court architect Mimar Sinan under the command of the 10th monarch
