This tree-lined street was created in 1948 when approximately 100 zelkova trees were planted to improve National Route 202. A place where visitors can enjoy the changing scenery of each season, it's renowned for the beautiful autumn foliage created by the trees, which stand as tall as five or six stories. Considered one of the best streets for a stroll in Fukuoka, it's lined with trendy shops like cafes, restaurants, florists, and bookstores, making it a perfect spot for a casual stroll.

1981: Construction of the shopping center began as part of the U.S. military's efforts to provide recreational facilities for their personnel stationed in Okinawa. 1984: American Village opened to the public, featuring a variety of shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues.
Take bus number 28 or 29 from Bus Stop 3 at the Naha Bus Terminal to Mihama American Village Iriguchi. It takes about 40 minutes. By car, it takes about 30 minutes driving north on Route 58.
