The Golden Hall of Todaiji Temple. Founded in the Nara period, it was fought in war during the reign of Jisei and Eiroku, and the current building was rebuilt by Kokei Kaito during the Edo period. The difference is that the scales. The Great Buddha Hall of the Kamakura period, with eleven intervals between the trusses; Later, due to financial difficulties, the size of the reconstruction was reduced to seven. Even so, the height and depth of the temple are the largest wooden building in the world when it was founded.
Founded more than 1,200 years ago, Todaiji Temple has been eroded by wars and natural disasters throughout its history. Every time it is damaged, the monastery will do its utmost to rebuild Garan and continue to preserve and inherit the preserved Buddhist sculptures, paintings, crafts, scriptures and ancient texts.
In order to house and exhibit temple treasures, the Todaiji Temple Exhibition Hall opened in October 2011, Heisei 23. Indoor seismic isolation devices have been installed in the exhibition hall and collection to protect fragile statues and other collections from earthquake damage.
The exhibition hall has a total of 5 exhibition halls. The second hall is inspired by the inner hall of the Hokkado Hall, where visitors can come into contact with the Buddha statues on display in a unique atmosphere. The exhibition hall also holds special exhibitions from time to time.

Moegi House:
The house of Moegi was built as a residence of the Consul-General of the United States in 1903 and was designated as an important cultural asset of the country in 1980. A wooden two-story, preliminary boarded foreign-style hall, featuring two different bay windows (overhanging windows). Luxurious designs such as a staircase with an arabesque pattern and a heavy mantle piece are seen everywhere, and from the veranda on the second floor a wonderful view overlooking the city area of Kobe is spreading.
Weathercock House:
Constructed as the house of German trader G.Thomas in 1909, and famous for the weathercock on the steeple. Designated as a National Important Cultural Property.

A two-story Western-style building : Starbucks coffee
Kitano Monogatari Museum is a two-story wooden house built in 1907 (Meiji 40), and was originally owned by an American.
After being damaged by the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake in 1995 (Heisei 7), it was scheduled to be demolished, but Kobe City received a donation of the building, dismantled it, stored the parts, and then transferred the parts to a private business operator and rebuilt and relocated to the current location in Heisei 13.
While retaining the original building and making use of the fittings and flooring that can be felt at that time, furnishings are arranged according to each room, such as the lounge, dining room, and guest room, so you can enjoy a different atmosphere in each room.

Why is it called Ni-neizaka?
1. It is said that this name was given when the slope was built in the 2nd year of Datong (807 AD).
2. The theory that it came to be called Niningzaka because it is under Sanneizaka.
So why Sanneizaka?
It is a famous story that Toyotomi Hideyoshi's right wife (northern political office) "Nene" lived in Kodaiji. It is said that the name came from the fact that "Nene" went up the slope to visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple in memory of the birth of a child.
If you fall on Niningzaka, you will die within two years?!
This slope has been around for a long time, but this name became the street name because it means the slope in front of Sanen-zaka.
The legend that "if you stumble and fall here, you will die within two years" seems to have been handed down as a warning phrase "Be careful on the stone steps."
According to a certain diary, "In the eighth year of the Horeki era (1758), a person named Masuya Kihei, with the permission of the government, made it a pioneer house." Since then, this area has been called Masuyacho. It is the current house in the early Taisho period and is designated as a national townscape preservation area.

The oldest record of the reign of Inari Ōkami is the "Yamashiro Kokufudoki Itsubun Inarishajo". This does not yet have a dating date of 4 years (711). However, in the era of the "Duke of Qin", when he was "Sekiji Rice Liang Ichi Yu 2 Yu 2 Tomi Ichi" and "Yore Mochi Ye Re" from the place where he was "Sekiji Rice Liang Ichi Yu 2 Tomi Yuichi", it turned into a "swan" and flew to the mountain peak, and "Raw Reko" or rice was born, so it was "finally made Resha" by Chery, and "其苗裔悔二先過一而抜二社之木一生生Re Family 祷 Re 命也" and "為レ社" According to the "Inarisha Shinto Family Onishi (Qin) Clan Genealogy", it is written that "Prince of Qin, Lord of Kamo Prefecture 24th of Kamo Prefecture, Kujira no Sueko Wado 4th Year February Jinno, Inari Myojin Shrine Shrine Notoki Yoshi Tonaru, Tenpei Jingo First Year August 8th Graduation", and as mentioned earlier, he is called a descendant of the Lord of Kamo Prefecture.
The age of Wado 4 years appears here, but as a reason why it was settled in this year, the season was irregular throughout the country at this time and the five grains were not good, so when a royal envoy was sent to Meiyama Okawa to pray, God taught him, and when the great god was enshrined on Inariyama in the mountain back country, the five grains were greatly fertile and the country became rich and prosperous, and this ritual was the first day of February of the 4th year of Wado. There is a tradition with. This cannot be said to be true at all, but it is presumed that this date was not suddenly handed down, but that there was some reason between the clans that should be specified, but it is not known at the moment what kind of event it was. However, if I had to say, it would be fair to think that this was the time when the chieftain of the clan, that is, the person who specialized in the rituals of the great gods (this is the one written as "Inari Myojin Gozano Toki Yoshi Tonaru" in the genealogy seen earlier) was established.

Manicured bamboo forests continue on both sides of the road, a tourist attraction that represents Kyoto. It is said that it was a villa area of aristocrats in the Heian period, and the sun shines through the trees comfortably on sunny days, and it gets dim even during the day on days when there is no sun.
