Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo opened on 16th June 2023 on the former Toshimaen site and provides fans the ultimate opportunity to journey behind-the-scenes of the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films to learn about the remarkable world of film production.
This is the largest indoor Harry Potter attraction in the world and the first Warner Bros. Studio Tour to open in Asia. Building on the success of Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – the Making of Harry Potter which has welcomed over 17 million visitors since opening in 2012, the Studio Tour Tokyo features exclusive sets only available at this location.
The Studio Tour invites fans to step into authentic sets, see spellbinding costumes and come face to face with magical creatures while learning filmmaking secrets. Visitors journey through iconic locations from the Harry Potter series, as they enter the Great Hall of Hogwarts, board the Hogwarts Express at Platform 9 ¾, venture into the depths of the Forbidden Forest, wander the cobbles of Diagon Alley or wonder at the mighty Ministry of Magic.
Hand-crafted by filmmakers, the sets have been created using the original methods and techniques, allowing visitors to see up-close the talent and craftmanship that went into one of the most successful film series of all time.
In addition, fans can get hands-on in a range of interactive experiences. Visitors can take part in a green screen experience riding a broomstick, see themselves as a moving portrait in the halls of Hogwarts and even step into the crowd of a Quidditch match.
Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo is located on the former Toshimaen Amusement Park site and is just a two minute walk from Toshimaen stations on the Toei Oedo line or the Seibu Ikebukuro line.
