Mangyangjeong Beach is relatively shallow and narrow, but it has the highest water temperature among the beaches on the East Sea coast. The lush pine forest makes it a good place to take a stroll, and there are many tourist attractions around the beach, such as Seongryugul Cave, which is a natural monument, Bulyeong Valley, and the coastal road, making it a popular summer resort for sightseeing.
Although the width of the white sand beach is narrow, the water depth is shallow, and the water temperature is the highest among the beaches on the East Sea coast, making it a suitable place for swimming. On a calm day, you can see the turtle rock that looks like it is lying flat on the sea.
Facilities include an observation deck, three toilets, a water fountain, one shower, a restaurant, a shop, and a parking lot for 500 cars. Accommodation options include condominium-style inns and nearby inns.

Jungle Dome is a giant hemispherical structure with 7,500 pieces of triangular glass. From the outside, it looks like an egg is cut in half as its length is long and the width is shaped like a short oval.
Reaching as high as 30 meters and stretching across 4,468 square meters, the dome houses escalators, an observatory, valleys, a 10-meter high artificial waterfall, and a skywalk.
The Jungle Dome will be used as a greenhouse to grow 300 different kinds of tropical plants and 10,000 tropical plants.
If you walk the skywalk connected to the cave section, you can see the tropical trees that grow more than 20m in front of you. The last section is equipped with a jungle observatory, so you can see the inside of the dome.
As you descend the skywalk, you will be greeted by colorful palm trees, tropical fruit trees, and stone carvings.

Haedong Yonggungsa Temple is situated on the coast of the north-eastern portion of Busan
which was first built in 1376 by the great Buddhist teacher known as Naong during the Goryeo Dynasty. Haesu Gwaneum Daebul, Daeungjeon Main Sanctuary, Yongwangdang Shrine, Gulbeop Buddhist Sanctum (enclosed in a cave), and a three-story pagoda with four lions can all be seen looking out over the ocean.
Other special sites at the temple are the 108 stairs and stone lanterns lining the rocky landscape.
Midway down the 108 steps one can stop and enjoy the calming sounds of the waves, and view the majestic sunrise.
Many people often come to this spot on New Year's Day to make a wish for the new year as they watch the sun come up. April is an especially beautiful time of year with cherry blossoms in full bloom. The birth of Buddha is also celebrated in the fourth month of the lunar calendar and offers a spectacular night view as the temple area is aglow with lit lanterns.

Seongsu-dong, a neighborhood hugging the Han River, is often said to be the “Brooklyn of Seoul”, a claim that is ridiculous if you have actually been to Brooklyn. If it is necessary to make comparisons, I would say Seongsu-dong is more of a miniature Baltimore, holding on to tradition but adapting to hipster desires.
Known as a shoe district, Seongsu-dong is one of those neighborhoods that are actually comprised of people that live AND work there; the signs are still in Korean, thankfully, and the foreigner presence is light. One of the more popular cafes in an area teeming with them is Cafe Onion. An easy walk from the Seongsu Station (Line 2, Exit 2), the Brutalist structure looks as if it may cave in at any moment. While that may be charming to some, having known of Korea’s not-so stellar record of constructing buildings, I took a quick stroll around the perimeter, looking for any warning signs. Luckily, there weren’t any, just dust, bricks, and sad weeds gasping for air.
