The Port of Marina Piccola - Sorrento is the ideal landing place for those who want to admire the beauty of the Sorrento Peninsula from a central and privileged position.
Easily accessible from the city center and close to the renowned Piazza Tasso, the port of Marina Piccola-Sorrento is one of the best-known landing places for tourists arriving in Campania.
This is not only due to the fame of the city, but also to the fact that many of the ferries and tourist boats depart from this area to Capri and the Amalfi Coast .
The landing place consists of an inner breakwater, a smaller inner breakwater which houses a dock where pleasure boats are housed, and a quay.
Maritime traffic is intense all year round. It is therefore advisable to pay attention to other units in transit during entry and exit manoeuvres.
Even when navigating near the port area, you need to pay attention to the routes followed by tourist ferries and the boats that enter the port area and those that leave it.
The marina of Marina Piccola offers yachtsmen a wide range of services , including a food shop for replenishing the galley, a pleasure craft rental point and a taxi service.
In the immediate vicinity of the port area it is possible to find a few restaurants and a good number of bathing establishments.
The fact of being in the heart of the historic center allows you to quickly go back to the city streets and thus find supermarkets and other catering outlets, bars, hotels, shops, historical monuments and various places of interest.

The Bagni della Regina Giovanna are located on the promontory of Punta Capo in Sorrento , to be precise they are located on the coast of the Marine Protected Area of Punta Campanella . It is a magnificent natural pool a few steps from the center of Sorrento, a small natural oasis .
The Baths are also an archaeological site characterized by history and nature, the remains of the villa of Pollio Felice are surrounded by a crazy sea and crystal clear water.
The Baths are located near the villa of Pollio Felice , a Roman patrician from the 1st century BC. The Villa was immense, consisting of about 30,000 m2, but unfortunately today it is only possible to admire the ruins. The poet Horace and the poet Stazio also narrated the magnificence of the villa.
The name of the Baths derives from Queen Giovanna II of Anjou-Durres. In fact it is said that in the period from 1371 to 1435 her queen loved to spend the summer in Sorrento and that she spent her time with her lovers right in the waters of Capo di Sorrento.
Entrance to the Bagni della Regina Giovanna is free , but subject to restrictions at any time of the year. The ideal period to take a dip in the natural pools present there is certainly June - July. In August it gets very crowded.
The archaeological site is open every day from 8:00am to 20:00pm
- Directions -
The baths of Regina Giovanna can only be reached on foot via an excursion of about 25-30 minutes or by sea.
By car, moped and bus it is possible to reach the closest non-pedestrian point. At Traversa Punta Capo you will find a private paid parking (there is a small sign on the left) for cars and mopeds. Don't park your moped on the street, parking is prohibited.
The route begins in Traversa Punta Capo in Sorrento and you will recognize the access from a small gate and an epigraph that dedicates the street to the Southernist Giuliano Salvemini.
