Tung Po Kitchen opened in 1992, back when the cooked food centre did not even have air conditioning installed. Industrial fans hang from the white-tiled walls, covered by old movie posters from a bygone era.
Tung Po’s different from most restaurants located inside cooked food centers and wet markets, popular among locals in search of no-frills cheap but delicious eats, the restaurant’s energetic owner Robby Cheung.
Wearing an apron and a pair of white wellington boots with tops scissored into zig-zag shapes, Cheung is often seen doing the splits, drinking, dancing and taking selfies with customers.

Ikcheong Building, located in North Point became famous in the background of the movie "Transformers: Age of extinction". We can see the culture of Hongkong in the densely populated residential space. Especially, if you look up at the sky from the yard where the four sides are apartments, you can see an amazing frame.

You can smell Lee Keung Kee before you even see it — which is handy, because this diminutive stall is easy to miss. Egg waffles are the speciality here. Known locally as gai dan zai (‘little chicken eggs’) they are bubble-shaped pockets of joy, crunchy on the outside, sweet and fluffy inside. This North Point outpost is one of the best in the city — so good it even earned a mention in the 2017 Hong Kong & Macau Michelin Guide.
