Western Market, renovated in 1991 and converted into a shopping complex, is an Edwardian-style building featuring shops selling arts and crafts, and fabric merchants who were originally located in the old alleys of Central. Completed in 1906, the impressive building has a red brick exterior with a handsome granite arch over its entrance and attractive ‘bandaged’ brickwork. The building is actually a north block extension of a larger market complex that was in operation from the 19th century. It was built on a site formerly occupied by the Harbour Office, which moved to a larger building in Central to cope with its growing workload.

Situated in close proximity to Hong Kong’s world-famous financial and business centre, which is also a food and shopping paradise, Hong Kong UNESCO Global Geopark of China is lauded as a unique “Geopark in the City”, with the city centre a mere one-hour bus or car ride away.
Hong Kong UNESCO Global Geopark’s major geoattractions include well-outcropped acidic volcanic hexagonal rock columns, of which the average diameter is 1.2 metres and which are distributed over a land-and-sea area of 100 square kilometres. The Geopark also has comprehensive sedimentary rock formations formed from the Devonian to the Paleogene (about 400 to 55 million years ago). It is integrated with diverse ecological resources such as mangroves, fung shui woods and coral communities and well-preserved Hakka walled-villages, fishing villages and historical relics such as temples that reveal the rich cultural heritage of the area, all combining to form the unique natural landscape of Hong Kong UNESCO Global Geopark.
You can reach there via MTR Diamond Hill Station. Once the travelers reach the MTR Diamond Hill Station, Exit C2, and board the bus 92 to Sai Kung Bus Terminus, and then walk towards the centre. And then it is better to take a taxi to Unesco global geo park(HKD160)

Mak Woon-chi was crowned Guangzhou’s King of Wonton Noodle in the 1920s. His culinary mastery was passed onto his son Mak King-hung who successfully reserved the rich taste of Xiguan wonton at the famous Mak’s Noodle. Mak opened another Mak’s Noodle on Wellington Street in Central in the 1980s. He shared the culinary secrets so that the legacy of wonton noodle may continue even after his retirement.
Wonton noodle is also called “Sai Yung” with a literal meaning of tiny confederate rose in Cantonese. Look through the semi-transparent wrapping of a perfectly cooked wonton and you will see the whiteness of its stuffing.

Tung Po Kitchen opened in 1992, back when the cooked food centre did not even have air conditioning installed. Industrial fans hang from the white-tiled walls, covered by old movie posters from a bygone era.
Tung Po’s different from most restaurants located inside cooked food centers and wet markets, popular among locals in search of no-frills cheap but delicious eats, the restaurant’s energetic owner Robby Cheung.
Wearing an apron and a pair of white wellington boots with tops scissored into zig-zag shapes, Cheung is often seen doing the splits, drinking, dancing and taking selfies with customers.

Four Seasons is the granddaddy of claypot rice on Temple Street, it’s been serving the hungry folks of Mong Kok for more than 30 years. The moment claypot season hits, massively long lines start forming outside. The claypot rice is cooked using a charcoal fire and there are 30 different varieties you can select. Try going for the chicken and Chinese sausage claypot rice, where the rice boasts a great aroma, tender chicken and a cracking soy sauce flavour.

They serves fried pork fat noodles, pork skin and radish, as well as glutinous rice noodles (doggie's noodles) and fake shark fin soup with duck.
So the name sounds a bit dodgy, but rest assured, there’s no dog meat involved in any Block 18’s noodles. The name doggie’s noodle actually refers to their specialty glutinous rice noodles. Here at this street food joint, tuck in a hearty bowl of noodles served in rich broth with liberal helpings of mushrooms and minced meat. Their fake shark fin soup with duck is popular, too. Block 18’s noodles make for a perfect meal to refuel after a day of shopping around Tshim Sha Tsui.
